Walters lecture

Ngai Tahu artist and Christchurch Art Gallery curator, Nathan Pohio (Iwi – Kati Mamoe, Ngai Tahu, Waitaha. Hapu – Tuahuriri, Rapaki, Arowhenua) will consider issues that he sees – both as a curator and as a practising artist, surrounding Gordon Walters’ iconic symbols in relation to his own art practice; to iwi in Aotearoa; and the impact of this modernist practice has played out globally.
