Gallery Educator, John Neumegen welcomes all children (and caregivers) to come to a story reading on the BIG WALL. The stories he tells relate to the work on the Big Wall which is by artist Jonathan Jones, a member of the Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi nations of south-east Australia.

Megan Tamati-Quennell, Curator of Modern & contemporary Maori & Indigenous art at Te Papa, friend and colleague of artist Jonathan Jones, will discuss his BIG WALL work Untitled (D21.281 Galari Bargan). Jonathan Jones is a member of the Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi nations of south-east Australia, Megan Tamati-Quennell is of Ngai Tahu ki Otakou and Te Atiawa descent.  Untitled (D21.281 Galari Bargan), explores notions of cultural imperialism, Indigenous sovereignty, reciprocity and exchange.
