16 October 2019 | 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
This is a discussion on the importance of art in humans’ sense of well-being and focusses on the Dunedin Hospital Art Collection. Participants are Christine Mulligan, whose MA thesis was titled The Dunedin Hospital Art Collection; Architecture, Space and Wellbeing. In 2017 Christine attended the 9th Annual International Arts and Health Conference in Australia and in that year, too, she catalogued the Dunedin Hospital Art Collection for the Healthcare Otago Charitable Trust. A further participant in this conversation is Barbara Brinsley QSM, retired theatre nurse, who also attended the Conference in Australia and is Aesthetics Coordinator for the Art Advisory Committee, as well as being Curator of the Collection for The Healthcare Otago Charitable Trust.
