Artforms, Climate Change and the Anthropocene. Bridie Lonie, lecturer at the Dunedin School of Art and Emeritus Member, Otago Polytechnic has drawn on her research as a PhD candidate at the University of Otago’s Department of History and Art History to bring this talk to us. The idea of climate change is nested in the wider idea of the Anthropocene. Artists have responded to the scientific, social and ethical aspects of our changing world across the breadth of artforms; each artform offers different ways of responding.
