New DPAG Curatorial Intern for 2017: Lucinda Bennett
15 March 2017
The Gallery is delighted to announce the appointment of Lucinda Bennett as the 2017 Curatorial Intern in Contemporary Art at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
Lucinda will start her Internship at the DPAG on Monday 27 March, and will be with us until early November 2017.
Lucinda has recently completed her Masters Degree in Art History at Auckland University on the topic of Intimacy in Contemporary Art. While studying, she worked as a Visitor Host at the Auckland War Memorial Museum (2013-2014) and as a Gallery Assistant at the Auckland Art Gallery (2012- present). She is also a freelance arts writer, and has written plays and produced and directed for theatre. Between 2012 -2015 she co-founded an independent theatre company called ‘Lucy& Luke Create’ which produced three of her scripts.
We are looking forward to welcoming Lucinda to the DPAG, which has proven to be a great learning environment for previous Curatorial Interns.
