Art Night
THIS IS NOM*d
Thursday 12 June | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Explore the Gallery after five and enjoy a programme of special events themed around the major retrospective THIS IS NOM*d. This event brings together people, art and music with food and a pop-up bar.
Live music (6.30pm): Elliot & Vincent are a two-piece rock ‘n’ roll band from Auckland, New Zealand. They began playing live shows in 2023, performing unreleased music to small rooms around the CBD and gradually developed a following. In late July of 2024, they supported The Jesus and Mary Chain and independently released their first single, ‘Doberman’ the same night. The single, produced by the band using an 8-track mixer, gave listeners a taste of the primal, beating rhythms and distorted, driving guitar lines which have come to define their sound.
Photobooth: The photobooth will be open – enjoy taking free snaps to a special NOM*d backdrop.
Clothes swap: Out with the old, in with the new – bring in your clothes that could bring someone else joy, and trade them for a new piece.
Food by Commons Eatery: Enjoy a delicious range of food for purchase by our neighbours at Commons Eatery.
Drink of the night: Crafted by our friends at Dunedin Craft Distillers, to be announced!
PLUS: the DPAG shop will be offering 20% off all stock, including custom DPAG x NOM*d t-shirts and socks!
Free entry and activities, food and beverages available for purchase.
Activities suitable for all ages.
