Camouflage Workshop

with artists Octavia Cook and Ed Ritchie

Saturday 22 May | 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Ed Ritchie and Octavia Cook both play with themes of camouflage in their work. While Octavia's jewellery adapts the subterfuge of predator and prey in the animal kingdom, Ed's artworks hide in plain view; as subtle interventions in the unnatural environment of the art gallery.

Join Ed and Octavia to explore different reasons for camouflage in response to a chosen artwork from the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.  You will be provided with a variety of materials to use in your investigations of the disguise, mimicry, concealment and disruption required to blend in.

Suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years.
Cost $10, all materials provided.
Bookings essential Ph: 03 474 3260
