Margery Blackman Exhibition Tour
& Loom weaving demonstration

A guided tour of the exhibition Margery Blackman: Weaving, Life – a survey of the life's work of eminent Ōtepoti artist, arts advocate and textiles scholar Margery Blackman.
This tour will be led by guest curator Elle Loui August, who will delve into the world surrounding Blackman’s practice – unpacking the layers of social context and art history woven into her tapestries.
After the tour, try your hand at loom weaving in an open demonstration led by Christine Keller from the LoomRoom.
