Architecture and design within settler-colonial contexts

Join Professor Federico Freschi, Head of College of Te Maru Pūmanawa Creative Practice and Enterprise at the Otago Polytechnic, for a discussion on the power, possibilities and politics of architecture and design within settler-colonial contexts. This evening talk is offered in association with current exhibition Charm Offensive by Jasmina Cibic.

Freschi holds a PhD in Art History from the University of the Witwatersrand and recently co-edited and published within the book The Politics of Design – Privilege and Prejudice in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and South Africa (2021).
