Macleans College Chorale
Free Performance
Thursday 28 August | 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Macleans College Chorale is the premiere mixed choir from Macleans College in East Auckland. Founded in 1992 and directed for the past 11 years by Sarah McNabb, the choir has a proud history of excellence and service. A recent highlight was taking part in the 2024 World Choir Games, earning Gold in the Open Secondary Schools category and singing as part of the Festival Stage Choir. Chorale also raises money annually for Seasons for Growth, a local charity which supports children and families in times of grief and loss.
The choir's philosophy is that strong storytelling and a deep connection to the text are essential to choral excellence, and they will be delighted to share these stories with you at the performance.
