New Caledonia Film Festival

New Caledonia's Journée de la Citoyenneté on 24 September is the island's annual celebration of its unique heritage and cultural differences within the French Republic.

This year the Alliance Francaise of Ōtepoti Dunedin is honouring their closest French neighbour with a suite of events, including the New Caledonian Film Festival, which will celebrate 25 years of cinema made in ''le Gros Caillou''!

The festival programme includes five short films, with introductions from the creative team behind each film. This screening will open the New Caledonian Season, a series of event to celebrate New Caledonian cultures and art.

Run time 85 mins, overall screening is rated M, selected titles are PG.
