Ngā Tae o Aotearoa
FREE Interactive Painting Session

Join artist Cora-Allan (Ngāpuhi, Ngātitumutumu, Niue; Alofi, Liku) for an interactive painting session with the artwork Ngā Tae o Aotearoa (2023).
Cora-Allan will guide participants to fill in landscape outlines with whenua paint that relates to places they whakapapa or have a connection to. This is a chance to hear about the exhibition and Cora-Allan’s work as an artist.
Cora-Allan’s touring exhibition Encountering Aotearoa is a major body of new work which considers experiencing the whenua from the vantage point of the moana.
Participants of all ages welcome, with adult supervision required for children. We particularly welcome and encourage educators of all kinds to attend this event.
