Michele Beevors

Having worked on this motley crew of Disney characters for the last six years Beevors has put together a very dark spin on fantasia. This supersize cast, which so easily could have been lifted from a Disneyland set, discloses a seamier side to the wholesome values that are usually espoused in fairytales. This is spectacle with a candy coated surface, but behind this spray-on nostalgia there is a much more revealing acerbic centre.
