A Q+A with Shireen Taweel

Rescheduled: 5.30pm Thursday 7 November

29 October 2024

While we were disappointed to cancel the opening weekend’s events for Shireen Taweel: 5364 nocturne, due to Ōtepoti’s state of emergency in October, we are thrilled to be rescheduling the talk with the artist on Thursday 7 November. This will be a great opportunity to hear Shireen speak about her research-led and multidisciplinary art practice, the time she spent on residency in Aotearoa, and the culminating exhibition 5364 nocturne.

From 5pm, 5364 nocturne will be open, so you can spend some time in the exhibition and secure a copy of the accompanying free and beautiful publication.

The talk will start at 5.30pm in the Gallery’s Auditorium on Level 1. Joining from her studio is Warrane Sydney, Shireen will speak in conversation with DPAG curator Lauren Gutsell.
FREE. All welcome.
