The newest addition to our winter season of exhibitions is The Studio by Julia Holderness in the BNZ gallery on the Ground Floor. In The Studio, Holderness creates an installation that explores the story of an all-woman art studio and exhibition space in Ōtepoti Dunedin in 1939-40. Bringing together contemporary and historical art works, The Studio considers the possible impacts and influences of a collective environment on the lives and works of artists.
Join Julia Holderness in the BNZ gallery on Saturday 10th July at 11am for an artist talk.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to make some alterations to the closing dates of our Level 1 exhibitions. Guy Ngan: Habitation is now closed, and Suite 20/21 and From the Shorewill both close on Sunday 11th July.
