Over the Moon
25 November 2025
For years I feared the dark. Yet, one of my earliest memories is lying happily in grass, marvelling at the stars, both puzzled and thrilled by the idea that someone had pricked tiny holes in the velvet curtain that was night to let the sunlight sparkle through.
Over the Moon invites you to explore artworks from the DPAG collection in which artists give shape to their own wonderings. These works connect us across time and place, capturing the depth of night, the excitement of space, and the ways familiar symbols can point us back to the sky. Let your imagination wander and remember the questions and curiosity you had as a child.
What is your relationship with the night sky, and how has it changed?
Over the Moon starts on Saturday 13 December.
