We are delighted to announce the Gallery’s next major fashion exhibition: THIS IS NOM*d - a retrospective of the iconic Dunedin fashion label, starting on Saturday, 29 March 2025.

The exhibition will showcase 20 looks from NOM*d’s rich 39-year history, selected from the label’s extensive archives, and styled in a contemporary way by long-term collaborators Karen Inderbitzen-Waller and Delphine Avril Planqueel.

THIS IS NOM*d will offer an immersive experience, highlighting the label’s commitment to creative collaboration with artists, musicians, filmmakers, and photographers. Through a blend of fashion, images, film, and sound, the exhibition will explore the evolution of NOM*d and its seminal approach to design.
