THIS IS NOM*d

This Saturday, 29 March, we are very excited to be launching THIS IS NOM*d – an immersive exhibition celebrating 39 years of the Dunedin fashion label.

Steadfastly based in Ōtepoti Dunedin, NOM*d has consistently challenged conventional style by merging conceptual design with unmistakable local influences, blending experimental tailoring with regional cultural motifs – such as tartans, stencilled graphics, and student streetwear.

The exhibition presents looks from the label’s extensive archives styled in a contemporary way, in addition to photographs, fashion films, and catwalk footage that emphasize NOM*d’s long-term commitment to creative collaboration and explore the evolution of its expressive approach to design.
